Coffee is an art here in Ethiopia. After grinding the freshly roasted beans, they cook it in a special dark brown (wooden?) pot over coal until it gets to a certain thickness and color.
Only then is it poured into the small cup to be offered to the customer. Accompanying the cup is a branch of a certain plant that you periodically dip into your cup to give it a distinct taste.
