Something on the Status of Urdu Translations

I have something to say on the status of Urdu translations that are so booming these days. In the non-fiction section, we need more original works and original writers, than translations.

Our readers are on a different level and have a different background than the ones for whom the translated works were originally written. I guess what I’m trying to say is that we need more people like Sibt-e-Hassan and Jalalpuri and less like Yasir Jawad.
