‘Embed Facebook’ is a WordPress plugin that lets you embed various Facebook objects in your posts or pages. The idea is to make the process as simple as possible. How to Use
Just activate the plugin and paste the URL of a Facebook album, photo, video, group, page, or note anywhere in a page or post. (Please make sure you paste the URL in HTML view, with a blank line above and below.)
Great plugin! Very helpful. I have one question — is there a way to display the updates [no matter if real-time or not] of a Facebook Page? Right now, it appears to just show the description of the page. I’d like to see the most recent updates from a page (ex. Contant Contact https://www.facebook.com/constantcontact?sk=wall&filter=2) I have tried pasting the aforementioned URL with a space above and below and it does not work. Let me know!

in your instructions you say to use http://www.facebook.com/album... for photo albums but i can only find this link on my facebook and i wont work http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1
any ideas?

I second that question, this is a great plugin but it would be fantastic if you could embed a facebook page into wordpress! Is this possible?
This is a great plugin, but I have the same kind of request as Erik Mabry.
I want to be able to embed the wall of a group, so that posts appears on the wordpress website, realtime or not.
I am trying to use this plugin, if I use your URL above it does work, if I try using any other public album like http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1537294188760.2070988.1127026053 it does not. I don’t understand, is it the string has too many characters? Is the plug in outdated? Anyhow this is exactly what I need if I can just get it to work
Duh, I guess I need to learn to read, only FB Pages albums are embedable, not personal albums.
This is a fantastic plugin. What makes it great is it allows me to do everything I need without being bloated or overly complex. It’s so easy to use anybody can do it.

Any way to just show the full description of an event by default? For some reason the “See full descrtiption” is not expanding to show more info.. wouldn’t mind everything just showing. Thanks… Awesome plugin!!
REPLY: that’s a bug. i thought i had removed the “show full description” thing entirely but it’s still there in the code. let me release an update.
2 things:
1.) There is a bug. When the plugin is active, it disables the wysiwyg editor.
2.) Would be nice for the gallery if you could have the option to use the album cover from facebook instead of showing all the photos.
The thumbs seem all inflated or deflated… is there a way to make them reflect what’s in my FB album?

upon updating to 1.4, i’ve run into some problems.
in ie8, clicking on any picture in the album results in only the first picture loading, with no option to go previous or next.
in ie9, you can browse previous and next, but after moving away from the initial picture, the gallery loses its round edges and moves to the bottom right of the screen. previous and next buttons work and the images don’t move anymore.
in chrome, opera and firefox, the gallery works as normal.
the above issues are happening with the galleries on my website, and also your demo gallery above.

The source code of the page will display the comments I post on facebook for every image on a gallery, but this comments will not be included in the slideshow’s footer.
Is there a way to include them?
